Urethral Stricture

A urethral stricture is an abnormal narrowing of the waterpipe (urethra), which may restrict the flow of urine from the bladder.

Symptoms of urethral stricture disease

Typical symptoms of urethral strictures include –

  • A poor urinary flow, spraying urinary stream and taking a long time to empty the bladder.
  • Dribbling of urine after you think you have finished and reduced force of ejaculation.
  • Pain on urination (dysuria) and urinary tract infection
  • Frequent urination and urinary urgency
